This 4 Day 3nights best of Uganda wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari takes you to explore Uganda wildlife in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Almost 100 mammal species and a remarkable 606 bird species makes this superb safari territory with elephant, a profusion of hippos, the elusive giant forest hog and handsome Uganda Kobs all regularly sighted around the tourist village on the Mweya Peninsula – which also boasts a marvelous waterfront setting in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains. Elsewhere, the remote Ishasha Sector is famed for its tree climbing lions, the Kyambura Gorge harbors habituated chimps, the Maramagambo Forest is home to an alluring selection of forest monkeys and birds, and flocks of flamingo are resident on the crater lakes.
Our guide/driver picks you at 7:30 am from your hotel or place of residence, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Fort Portal. Fort Portal rests under the Rwenzori Mountains. Make your stopover at the Equator crossing for photography in Kasese with lunch en route. Thereafter proceed to Queen as you enjoy beautiful scenery, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna.
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. Early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile makes visitors encounter elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular birds. Later return to the lodge for dinner and Overnight stay
With previous day’s memories, enjoy your breakfast ready for guided primate walk along Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After primate walk, Drive along the deep and wide dry craters that are occupied by Savannah grasses and acacia. The drive takes you through the unique western rift valley escarpment and the (southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park) Ishasha sector where you will take on yet another game drive in search of tree climbing lions in the afternoon and evening. Early morning game drive for the tree climbing lions, thereafter drive back to Kampala with lunch en route, a stopover at Igongo cultural centre to explore the life style of the Ankole and Bahima, thereafter proceed at the Equator Uganda. You will then be brought back to Kampala or Entebbe where you will be dropped off at your hotel or place of residence. Please the cultural tour at Igongo is optional
